Author Guidelines

EMedia welcomes original research contributions addressing emerging media technologies, intelligent digital systems, and digital transformation. Authors are encouraged to submit high-quality manuscripts that present significant theoretical advances, innovative methodologies, and practical applications.

All submitted manuscripts must comply with the requirements described in these guidelines.

1. Types of Manuscripts

EMedia accepts the following manuscript categories:

Research Articles

Research Articles present original theoretical developments, methodologies, experimental studies, and applications.

Typical length:

6,000–10,000 words

 

 

Review Articles

Review Articles provide comprehensive analyses of emerging research areas.

Typical length:

8,000–15,000 words

Examples:

Short Communications

Short papers reporting:

· Preliminary findings

· New concepts

· Emerging technologies

2. Manuscript Preparation

Authors should prepare manuscripts according to the EMedia manuscript template.

The manuscript should contain the following sections:

 

 

Title Page

The title page should include:

Article Title

The title should:

· be concise

· clearly describe the research contribution

· avoid unnecessary abbreviations

 

 

Author Information

For each author, provide:

· Full name

· Institutional affiliation

· Department

· City and country

· Email address

· ORCID ID (recommended)

3. Abstract

Each manuscript must include an abstract.

Requirements:

· 150–250 words

· Clearly describe:

o research background

o methodology

o major findings

o significance

The abstract should be understandable without reading the full paper.

 

 

4. Keywords

Authors should provide:

4–8 keywords

Keywords should represent the main research topics.

 

 

5. Manuscript Organization

A typical research article should include:

The introduction should explain:

· motivation

· existing challenges

· research objectives

· contributions

Authors should clearly state the novelty of their work.

 

 

2. Related Work

This section should:

· review previous studies

· identify research gaps

The description should allow researchers to reproduce the work.

Recommended:

Figures

Figures should:

· have clear resolution

· include captions

· be numbered sequentially

7. Originality and Plagiarism Policy

Authors must submit original work that has not been:

· published previously

· submitted elsewhere simultaneously

EMedia uses plagiarism detection software.

Manuscripts with significant similarity to previously published work may be rejected.

 

 

8. Authorship Policy

Authors should meet all of the following criteria:

1. Make substantial contributions to the research.

2. Participate in manuscript preparation.

3. Approve the final manuscript.

4. Accept responsibility for the published work.

Individuals who do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately.

 

 

9. Data Availability

Authors are encouraged to provide:

· datasets

· source codes

· experimental materials

when possible.

A Data Availability Statement should be included.

 

 

10. Ethical Requirements

Authors must disclose:

Conflicts of Interest

Any financial or personal relationships that may influence the research must be declared.

Funding Information

Authors should provide funding details.

 

 

Human and Animal Research

Research involving humans or animals must comply with appropriate ethical standards.
